When we say we live for Christ, we are living in His Name. He will be our source of joy and our reason to live. And, when we say to die is gain, it is even better because we will be with Him in eternity. We will gain even more because of eternity.
To die is gain means the gain of the glory of eternity. There would be an advantage in dying above that of living. Don't fear death. Be ready and excited to face Him 'coz you will be with Him for eternity.
In your heart of hearts, do you truely not fear death? If after being hurt, abused, betrayed, insulted, threatened and hated (all these things cause post traumatic stress syndrome) God would ask you to give a stranger some water in the night ... Would you givith? If a stranger is in need of your hospitality on a cold winter's night ... would you giveth? Or would you say: come back tomorrow and I show you to a shelter? Would you truely in your most honest of hearts help a stranger and forsake your own safety? If God would test you ... would you pass the test?
