Dear Lord, how glorious You are in the nature of Your world. Each day, Your creatures awake to new life and joyfully sing Your praises with a thousand tongues. You are the source of life, the destroyer of death.
Thank You for desiring communication with me and for the reassurance that You are indeed listening and ready to help in time of need. Teach us to come to You with confidence in Your attentive love for us. And grant that what we believe we may also speak.
Bestow upon me, and upon all of us who pray together, the meaning of words, the light of understanding, the nobility of diction and the faith of the true nature. I will be glad and rejoice in You this day. I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
