Dear Lord, who has commanded us to love one another without fail, purify my soul. Let Your Holy Spirit empower me throughout this day, to be obedient to the truth at every moment, so that I might love my brothers and sisters earnestly, from a pure heart. And let me always remember that I have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of Your Son; born again into a life of perfect love, obedience, and service.
Thank You that You can take our lives and use them in ways we never thought possible. If I am confused or do not know what to think or do, let me think of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and ask myself what He would have done. And, help us to be the instruments that convey the music of Your love.
And finally, may the grace of Christ our Savior, and the Father’s boundless love, with the Holy Spirit’s favor, rest upon me, and all of us, from above. Thus may we abide in a union, with each other and the Lord, and possess, in sweet communion, joys which earth cannot afford. This I pray, in Christ's name.
