Today We Pray

Dear Heavenly Father, in You we live and move and have our being. I humbly pray You so to guide and govern me by Your Holy Spirit. That in all the cares and occupations of my life, I may not forget You, but may remember that I am ever walking in Your sight.

I remind myself that I am in Your presence. I will take refuge in Your loving heart. You are my strength in times of weakness and my comforter in times of sorrow.

Finally, may I go forth filled with the joy and confidence of Your Spirit. May everything I do this day, in word or deed, be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
