Today We Pray

Dear God, you make me glad about the weekly remembrance of the glorious resurrection of your Son my Lord. Give me the peace to worship You with my whole heart and mind, forgetting the cares of the world, and dwelling with You for a short moment with my entire being. And give me this day such blessing through my worship of You, that the week to come may be spent in living knowledge of Your peace.

Assist me for I desire to become good no matter what the cost. Take away, destroy, and utterly root out whatever You find in me that is contrary to Your holy will. At the same time, illumine me so that I may walk in Your holy light.

God our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, and Spirit of God amidst us, direct our way unto You. Make us to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you; to the end we may establish our hearts unblameable in holiness before you, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
