This Holy Week, let us remember Jesus' death on the cross. It was prophesied in the Old Testament that the Son of God, who is Jesus, will come here on this world to die for our sins. The fact is, it was our pains He carried— our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us. We thought He brought it on himself, that God was punishing Him for His own failures. But it was our sins that did that to Him, that ripped and tore and crushed Him—our sins! He took the punishment, and that made us whole. Through his bruises we get healed.
Let us reflect on His love for us. Thank Him for His unconditional and sacrificial love for us. Through His wounds, we will be healed and forgiven. Our sins will be set free because of Jesus' blood on the cross.
