Dear Lord, draw thou our hearts unto thee. Join them together in inseparable love, that we may abide in thee, and thou in us. And that, the everlasting covenant between us may stand sure forever.
It is far too easy to chase my own desires and passions. Forgive me for my selfish wants and pursuit of self-centered activities. Help me to place You first and to look for what You are doing and want to do in my life.
God of love, Father of all, the darkness that covered the earth has given way to the bright dawn of Your Word made flesh. Make me and all who confess Your holy name people of this light. Make me faithful to Your Word that I may bring your life to the waiting world.
