Dear Lord, when I come into Your presence, I know I am in the presence of my Creator. You created me out of Love and You even know the number of hairs on my head. Your presence, O Lord, is the greatest of all.
It is so easy to get caught up with the trappings of wealth in this life. Grant, O Lord, that I may be free from greed and selfishness. Remind me that the best things in life are free: love, laughter, caring and sharing.
I pray that the fire of Your Spirit may renew the energies of all Your saints and enable us to welcome those who do not know You. And finally, Lord, may Your Church be constantly renewed, in prayer, in Your Word, and in Your worship. In Christ’s name, this I ask.
