In Jesus, there is freedom! He said that if we will know the truth, it will set us free (John 8:32). How can we have that freedom from Jesus? It is by remaining faithful to Him and by believing in His commands. Becoming His disciples will have you that freedom.
When He came into this world, He fought a battle for all of us who are held in slavery. Our slavery is not one of outward bondage. We are held by our own brokenness and transgressions. Jesus said, "I tell you for certain that anyone who sins is a slave of sin! And slaves don’t stay in the family forever, though the Son will always remain in the family. If the Son gives you freedom, you are free!” (John 8:34–36).
We can be free if we just trust in His Name. His Words have a need to be declared in the whole world. Let others have that freedom, too. We can be free from guilt, shame, and hopelessness if we just follow His commands and be His disciples. Invite Christ into your lives now and receive that freedom.
