How do you feel when people think highly of themselves? For sure, it feels awkward that people brag too much about themselves. We should not do that, as a matured Christian. God will give grace to the humble. Your achievements or abilities are just temporary things in this world. What matters most to the Lord is your humble heart and attitude.
Apostle Paul was told by God to tell the people that they should not think highly of themselves. We should think with sound mind and judgement instead. Having a sober mind can have a great impact around you. You do not have to exaggerate ideas about your own importance, but you think ideas that can benefit others too, not just yourselves.
Let us be reminded that not to think you are better than you really are. It pays to be humble. A lot of people had been disappointed because of bragging too much about them. Lastly, think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. This is humility, always practice it.
