Don't you know that God already thought of you thousand years ago? Yes, it is the Good News! God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. While we are still helpless, He already died for us. We are already saved from our sins, because of His mercy.
How to receive this salvation? First, let us be reminded that this salvation is free. It is a gift from God. We just have to confess our sins to Him with all of our hearts. Acknowledge Him as your personal Lord and Savior. And, this must be a sincere one. God knows what's inside our hearts.
You don't have to do good works to repay for this salvation. For it is by God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ that you have been actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life, through faith. Salvation is not of yourselves, not through your own effort, but it is the undeserved, gracious gift of God. Not as a result of your works so that no one will be able to boast or take credit in any way this (Eph. 2:8-9). Salvation is here!
