Dear Lord, we're prone to quickly forget Your goodness and care for us. May we trust You today and into the new year - whatever uncertainties we face. You are the God who can be trusted.
Forgive the many errors, that I made yesterday. And let me try again to walk closer in Thy way. But I am well aware, I can't make it on my own, so take my hand and hold it tight, for I can't walk alone.
O good shepherd, seek me out and bring me home to Your fold again. Deal favorably with me according to Your good pleasure, until I may dwell in Your house all the days of my life. And praise You forever and ever with them that are there.
