How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger bringing good news. Breaking the news that all is well. Proclaiming good times, announcing salvation, telling Zion, “Your God reigns!”. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those who bring the happy news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns.
What a beautiful sight! On the mountains, a messenger announces to Jerusalem, “Good news! You’re saved. There will be peace. Your God is now King.”
