Dear God, You are what thought cannot better; You are who thought cannot reach; You are who no thinking can even conceive. Without You, man can have no being, no reason, no knowledge, no good desire, nothing. You, oh Lord, are what you are, transcending all.
I am in need, Lord, of Your power so that I might change and grow. I surrender myself to You. Please help me to understand how to be submissive to You that I might be filled with Your Spirit.
Most High, Glorious God, enlighten the darkness of my mind. Give me a right faith, a firm hope, and a perfect charity, so that I may always and in all things act according to Your Holy Will. In Christ's name, I pray.
