Just as in His love, He chose us in Christ. He actually selected us for Himself as His own before the foundation of the world. So that we would be consecrated, set apart for Him and purpose-driven. And consecrated, blameless in His sight. Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love.
Before the world was created, God had Christ choose us to live with him and to be his holy and innocent and loving people. God chose us to be his very own through what Christ would do for us. He decided then to make us holy in his eyes. Without a single fault—we who stand before him are covered with his love.
