A gentle response defuses anger. A kind answer soothes angry feelings. But a sharp tongue kindles a temper-fire. Those harsh words will stir others up.

Be careful with your words. Always answer softly when everything doesn't turn out good. Don't let your harsh word light a fire. Have self-control.
