The words of a wise person are gracious. But, the talk of a fool self-destructs. He starts out talking nonsense and ends up spouting insanity and evil. It is pleasant to listen to wise words, but a fool’s speech brings him to ruin.
If you talk sensibly, you will have friends. But, if you talk foolishly, you will destroy yourself. So, talk with sense so that you will not end up foolish to others. And, in order for you not to destroy yourself, speak life. Wise words bring approval, but fools are destroyed by their own words.
