The Daily Grace - The way to great patience is through great trials

Patience is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. It is also the first adjective that is used in describing Love in 1 Corinthians 13. In our everyday walk with Him, it is really challenging to be patient at all times. Especially when you are waiting for an answer, waiting for something or someone, even waiting for your turn. Impatience is common to us, humans as we are. But, we should fight this negative attitude because this will really affect others too, not just you.

Patience should really be practiced at all times because through these, we will appreciate the value of waiting. Waiting is sometimes hard and distressing, but this is also one way that God is molding our character. Like a farmer who's waiting for a harvest, crops may grow for a long time but these will bring forth good products later on.  Also, like a precious gem to be refined to have a good product like a jewelry. Refining may be a hurting one but this is one way of God's molding for a good outcome. It is indeed a challenge to hold on to God in times of trials.

Trials will come along the way in the waiting period, but keep your faith alive! Look forward to the finish line, you are almost there. He will help you to reach that target in His time. He makes all things beautiful in His time if you just know how to be patient in everything. You will feel God's love, guidance and protection if you will just practice patience.
