"Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ."
This is Paul's words to the Corinth. Since Paul is a good and perfect example of a follower of Christ, he instructed them that they should imitate him like Paul imitated Jesus. We, Christians, should do godly things in this world. We should be the role models to the people of this world.
Let our lives be a blessing to others. Let others see Jesus in you. Let us follow His ways and His examples on how He relate to the people. Be a blessing today by imitating Christ.
It is difficult to find anyone who is worthy to imitate in today's worldy Christian communities where Christ Jesus standards have been given to personal interpretation according to personal preferences, social morals, and fashion.
ReplyDeleteAnd often the person who is worthy to be a role model wishes to keep such Christian maturity to herself so not to lesson her beauty in the eyes of her affections. I personally would welcome a mentor and friend into my life. Perhaps we can wear the same style dresses, because the five dresses I purchased yesterday are wordly, sleefless and colorful. Today I'm not happy with this purchase! It would have been wiser of me to spend more at a Farmer's Market. The grapes were delicious!
