Dear Lord, teach me to number my days aright, that I may gain the wisdom of the heart. Help me do today the things that matter, not to waste the time I have. The moments I have are precious, Lord, see that I count them dear.
I pray that You will fill my heart with the blessing of Your Holy Spirit. Grant me this day the strength to be temperate in all things, diligent in my duties, and patient under my afflictions. Direct me in all my ways.
Enlighten the darkness of my mind. Give me a right faith, a firm hope, and a perfect charity, so that I may always and in all things act according to Your Holy Will. Fill me this day with Your kindness, that I may be glad and rejoice all the days of my life.
