Today's Godly Reminder - 2 Timothy 1:12

Paul's suffering under persecution was due to his work as a preacher, apostle, and teacher. Yet, he was "not ashamed". Paul provides two reasons to explain why he was not reluctant to suffer for Christ. First, he could suffer for the sake of Jesus, because he knew Jesus, and Jesus' suffering gave Paul power to endure all things. Second, Paul said he was not ashamed to suffer because he trusted Christ to be the ultimate foundation, not his own efforts.

In the darkest times, God is prepared to accomplish great things to the praise of His glory. The One we've trusted in can take care of what he’s trusted us to do right to the end. Be sure that He is able to safely guard all that we have given Him until the day of His return. Be positively persuaded about God that He will be able to guide you until the end.
